      The last image in this series is of an Adelie penguin while all others are of Gentoo penguins. Adelie penguins used to nest as far as the northern tip of the Antarctic Peninsula but global warming has forced them to the colder climate at the south end of the Peninsula. In the last several years the average temperature at the Peninsula had risen almost 10 degrees--the fastest rise yet measured in the world.
